Ice Caves: West of Trout Lake, take Hwy 141. Scenic & geological area, access to underground lava tubes.

Big Lava Bed: West of Trout Lake, take Hwy 141 & Road #60/66. 12,500 acres of sculptured, rugged terrain. View from the edge; no trails or landmarks to follow.

Sleeping Beauty: North of Trout Lake, on Road #88. Legendary sleeping Indian princess turned into mountain.

Huckleberry Fields: On the ridges at the base of Mt. Adams. Northwest of Trout Lake, take Road #88, and stop at scenic Langfield Falls or continue to Tillicum Camp on road #24. Or, Peterson Prairie Camp west of Trout Lake on Hwy 141.

Indian Heaven Wilderness: Scenic area, west of Trout Lake and north of the Big Lava Beds, along road #60 & 65. Pick huckleberries in late summer.
