CAPE HORNInfo:Cape Horn is a massive basalt rock outcrop on the Washington side of the Columbia River. There is a Cape Horn scenic overlook heading east on Hwy 14 just past mile marker 25 and it's a great spot for picture-taking. If you are on the Oregon side of the Columbia River, there are great views of Cape Horn from Bridal Veil Falls Overlook, Dalton Point and Crown Point. If you like to hike, try the Cape Horn Loop Trail, which has become one of the best-known "unknown" trails in the Columbia Gorge. http://www.gorgefriends.org/trails/CapeHorn/Amenities:
