On the banks of the scenic Columbia River, the city of Stevenson is located just east of The Bridge of the Gods on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. Just 45 minutes from Portland or Vancouver, and three and a half hours from Seattle, Stevenson is a picturesque community to visit.  Downtown Stevenson is home to unique shops, art galleries, delicious restaurants and the award-winning Walking Man Brewery.  Just up the hill from downtown is the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum and Skamania Lodge. Skamania Lodge includes an impressive conference center, restaurants, spa and golf course. Stevenson is the gateway to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest to the north and the eastern entrance to Mount St. Helens.  If windsurfing and kiteboarding are your thing, check out Bob's Beach to get in on the action. It also makes for great spectator viewing!

Skamania Lodge: Scenic grand lodge & conference center hosts a U.S. Forest Service Interpretive Center, plus golf, riding, tennis, fitness center, and restaurant.

Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center: Excellent cultural & natural history interpretive center, 990 SW Rock Creek Dr., Stevenson. 509-427- 8211/800-991-2338. Open daily: 10-5pm.

Rock Creek Park: Community center, fairgrounds, waterfront park, picnic area, playground, bird-watching & wildlife refuge on Rock Cove.

Port of Skamania: Sternwheeler landing, public park & beach on Stevenson’s waterfront. Food, Lodging, Shopping, Gas.
