LEWIS AND CLARK STATE PARK

Info:

Located along the Sandy River, Lewis & Clark State Park appropriately honors its legendary namesakes who camped and explored here in November, 1805. The park showcases a flat, grassy area that is perfect for picnics. There is a public boat launch and popular swimming hole adjacent to the park. If you like to hike, try the trail that climbs the cliffs to Broughton's Bluff, which serves as a geologic boundary between the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range and the Willamette Valley. There is no fee required to use this park.
