Multnomah Falls
Info:
Perhaps the most iconic location in the Columbia River Gorge, the Multnomah Falls cascades down from 620' above the Gorge floor (in two drops). There is a walking trail which leads to Benson Bridge (see pictured bridge) which allows visitors to cross above the lower falls. Besides the view, the Multnomah Falls Lodge (built in 1925) offers a number of tourism services. For the more adventurous traveler, there are a series of trail systems that lead up to the top of the falls as well as the falls source (Larch Mountain).
