Basket Weaving Classes

Seagrass & Reed Melon Basket
Students will make a beautiful melon-shaped egg basket using reed and oriental sea grass. The rope-like sea grass has an interesting texture and earthy smell, and gives the basket a unique two-toned effect when combined with reed. This basket would make a very nice gift. Bring an old towel to keep you lap dry.

Flower Gathering Basket
SThe flower gathering basket is woven flat, and then curved up on two sides and secured with a handle. The open ends make it easy to use for gathering long-stemmed flowers. A useful basket in the garden, or would make a nice gift. Bring an old towel to keep you lap dry.
