Join Dog River Cycles on Saturday, May 16 for a day of fun riding and a potluck barbeque to kick off the '09 season!

Meet at the Post Canyon Trailhead at 10 am, then gear up for a day of riding. DRC will provide shuttles for groups that want DH only and some demo bikes if you would like to try a Bionicon out on the trail. They encourage carpooling to the trailhead to minimize congestion in the parking area. The park-and-ride across from the China Gorge Restaurant in Hood River is a good place to leave extra vehicles for the day. The DRC party van will be at the park-and-ride around 9:30, and will have space for a few bikes and riders.

Then head up to Dog River Cycles for post-ride growlers and drinks in the late afternoon. Join them for food, drink and a bonfire at their house to round out the day. Please bring something to grill or a side. They will provide some grass-fed locally raised beef, some sides and fixins, and a couple of cocktails. Kids and dogs (of course!) are welcome. There are plenty of good camp sites in their yard if you would like to spend the night.
