Oregon’s Hood River Valley is famous throughout the nation and the world for its wonderful pears. Celebrate them! The Hood River Pear Celebration takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 15-16. Fruit stands, wineries, farms, and attractions all along the valley’s scenic Fruit Loop will be offering the best pears, pear products and more. Nearly 20 different varieties of pears will be available to taste and purchase. There will be pear wine, pear desserts, pear recipes, and many more special treats. In addition, pear lovers will find all sorts of other fine food and country fun along the Fruit Loop during the Pear Celebration.
