MOTHER'S DAY HIKE TO KLICKITAT MINERAL SPRINGS

Hike Klickitat Mineral Springs (joint hike with Friends of the Columbia Gorge) 3 miles round trip; Easy Hike

Leader KTC Vice President Barbara Robinson KTC and Friends of the Gorge jointly offer this Mothers' Day event.

We will meet at the lovely new Trailhead in Lyle, drive l6 miles up the beautiful Klickitat River Canyon, and then do an easy hike to an old spring where mineral water sometimes bubbles up from a pipe. Barbara will identify plants and talk about the dry ice factory and the soda pop bottling company that were there. We may go a little further on the trail to see more flowers. Bring a lunch.

Meeting Place: 10:00 AM at the Lyle Trailhead.
Second Meeting Place: 10:45 AM Klickitat Town Park Trailhead
