68th ANNUAL COLUMBIA RIVER CROSS CHANNEL SWIM

550 hearty souls swim the mighty Columbia from the Washington shore to Oregon every Labor Day! Come join or spectate!

Registration begins at 5 a.m. at the Hood River County Chamber Office (back deck) 720 E. Port Marina Dr, Hood River, OR.  Swimmers will depart on the Sternwheeler at 7:30 a.m. for the ride across the river.  At approximately 8 a.m., swimming will begin.  Flights of 10 people will jump from the Sternwheeler at a time. Swimmers are usually finished by 9:30 or 10 a.m.
