Join us for the opening of CHILDHOOD REMEMBERED, on October 1st, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The CHILDHOOD REMEMBERED, Show will run October 1-31, 2010.

In partnership with Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, the Columbia Art Gallery is pleased to announce the October show, "Childhood Remembered." Twelve artists, including several nationally-known, will be presenting their interpretation of the theme, ranging from sweet to edgy, from bullfrogs and butterflies to monsters under the bed. This show is sure to resonate with children and evoke nostalgia in those whose childhoods are remembered.

There will be a People's Choice award, and the public is invited to submit photos depicting childhood memories throughout the month. The photos will be on display at the gallery; at the end of the month one photo will be selected that artist Todd Smith will paint and present to the recipient.
